North Richland Hills, TX – The Fort Worth Christian baseball team is diving right into fall workouts, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead. Over the past three weeks, the Cardinals have been hard at work, dedicating five days each week to intensive practice sessions that focus on individual skills and team fundamentals.

Head coach Rusty Greer stated, “This is a crucial time for our players to grow their skills and build team chemistry. We’re focusing on the basics while encouraging everyone to elevate their game. The energy has been great, and I’m really proud of the effort our guys are putting in.”

Coaches are emphasizing a well-rounded training approach that includes various fielding drills, helping players sharpen their defensive skills. But it’s not just about individual techniques; the team is also prioritizing teamwork, practicing strategies that enhance communication and collaboration on the field.

“Everybody is starting to get it." said senior Austin Meiser. “The ones who've been here are helping out the younger guys that just got into the program. It's flowing really well, and everyone is picking things up a lot quicker.”

With each practice designed to boost both physical abilities and mental sharpness, the Cardinals are laying a solid foundation for the upcoming season. The players are embracing this challenging schedule, excited to improve and gear up for competitive play.
