The Fort Worth Christian Cardinals delivered a dominant performance in two straight games against Coram Deo, securing a 14-0 victory on Thursday and following it up with a 6-1 win on Friday. The Cardinals showcased both offensive firepower and strong pitching in their commanding sweep.

Austen Meiser was the star of the show on Thursday, driving in five runs on four hits to propel Fort Worth Christian to a 14-0 win. Meiser’s contributions came in key moments, including a three-run double in the third.

The bottom of the lineup proved to be a major factor, with Andrew Ridgell, Meiser, and John Stevens combining for nine of the team's 17 hits. They also accounted for three runs and eight RBIs.

Gregory Smeds was stellar on the mound, throwing five shutout innings while allowing just one hit and striking out eight. The Cardinals were also sharp defensively, committing no errors through the five-inning game.

Jake Parkerson put together a strong performance at the plate on Friday, going 3-for-4 with two doubles and a single to help Fort Worth Christian secure a 6-1 win.

On the mound, Hayden Bargy earned the win, allowing just one run on two hits over two and two-thirds innings. Brody Henderson and Austen Meiser also contributed on the mound, with Meiser tossing two shutout innings in relief.

Jack Ude and Davidson each had multiple hits, while James made his presence felt on the basepaths with two stolen bases. The Cardinals swiped four bases in total and turned a double play.

The Cardinals look to carry their momentum into their next matchup against the Mansfield Knights on Tuesday.
